System Prameters

Task: The goal was to automate the palletizing of wooden boards of various sizes to increase speed, efficiency and continuity of the process. the system needed to be flexible enough to handle different dimensions and easily adaptable to new product types in the future.

Initial State: Previously the palletizing of wooden boards was performed manually or semi-automatically. This approach was labor-intensive, time consuming, and prone to inconsistency, especially when handling different board sizes or adapting to new product lines.

Automation Process: Techvitas Robotika developed and installed an automated palletizing solution capable of processing wooden boards of various sizes. The system was programmed to adjust automatically to different dimensions, ensuring seamless operation without manual reconfiguration, The solution also allows for quick adaptation to new product specifications, providing long-term flexibility for production change.

Project Results: The new automated palletizing system significantly increased throughout, reduced manual labor requirements, and improved process consistency. Production interruptions were minimized, while the system’s adaptability made it easier to introduce new product types with minimal downtime.
